Job Vacancy: Chief Commercial Officer – Ethiopost

Ethiopost, Ethiopia’s leading postal service provider with over 600 branches nationwide, is seeking a Chief Commercial Officer to drive its vision of becoming a global leader in postal services and a preferred partner in logistics, financial, and government services.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Economics, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years (with a master’s degree) or 8 years (with a bachelor’s degree) in senior leadership roles.
• Technical skills: Established commercial background, proven ability in planning, implementing, and analyzing performance results against objectives and KPIs, significant senior management and leadership experience, proficiency in managing operational performance within financial budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, coordinate, and supervise departmental work ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Advise and strategize sales and marketing activities for improving existing services and expanding into new services.
• Conduct market research, set plans and KPIs, monitor performance, and adjust business strategy based on market analysis.
• Develop and implement the sales strategy, enhance company products and services.
• Oversee product managers, customer relationship management, revenue targets, and overall performance evaluation.
• Drive sales through multichannel approaches, oversee district and local sales managers, and provide feedback.
• Maximize profitability through coordinated sales programs, optimize resources, and expand the franchise network.
• Coordinate communications strategy, branding research, public relations, and business development.
• Promote domestic and international services, conduct training, prepare budgets, and ensure key resources are in place.

Salary: 86,250 ETB

Allowance and Benefits: Company vehicle + attractive allowance and benefit packages.
