Position 1: Supervisory USAID Development Assistance Specialist (Family Health Team Lead)

Minimum Qualifications Required for this Position:

• Education: Advanced degree in clinical care (i.e., nursing, midwifery, physician, and/or related health professionals) and Master’s degree in public health, Development Studies, Social or Behavioral Sciences, Epidemiology, Infectious Disease, Nutrition, or a closely related discipline.
• Work Experience: Minimum ten years of professional-level experience in public health or international development, including two years of supervisory experience. Three years of experience working for bilateral or multilateral development partners. Substantial programming experience in family health.
• Language: Level IV fluency in English and Amharic.

Market Value: $35,053 – $63,097 yearly (equivalent to FSN – 13)

Position 2: USAID Development Program Specialist (Geographic Information System/Knowledge Management)

Minimum Qualifications Required for this Position:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), informational/communication technologies (ICT), data analytics, social sciences, international development, or related fields.
• Work Experience: Minimum five years of professional-level experience, including experience in organizational/action learning, development, GIS, consulting, or knowledge management. Strong background in monitoring and evaluation of programming.
• Language: English and Amharic at Level IV.

Market Value: $24,124 – $43,420 yearly (equivalent to FSN – 11)

Position 3: Human Resources Assistant

Minimum Qualifications Required for this Position:

• Education: Completion of Secondary Schooling and an additional two years of post-secondary studies in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or related fields.
• Prior Experience: Minimum three years of administrative, human resources, personnel assistance, public administration, or customer service-related experience.
• Language: Level IV fluency in English and local language proficiency.

Market Value: $12,764 – $22,964 yearly (equivalent to FSN – 08)

Place of Performance: US Embassy, Entoto Road, Addis Ababa, with possible travel as stated in the Statement of Duties.
