Job Title: Branch Manager (Six Positions Available)

Job Description:

Shabelle Bank is seeking experienced and motivated candidates to fill six Branch Manager positions in Dhobaweyn, Daror, Salahad, Hamaro, Garbo, and Danod. In this role, the Branch Manager will lead and coordinate the marketing activities of all staff within the branch, support sustainable and profitable growth of the bank, and improve the efficiency of branch operations through enhanced customer service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate the overall activities of the branch, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Coordinate the marketing efforts of the branch and regulate brand usage according to bank standards.
  • Manage customer expectations and ensure high levels of satisfaction by providing excellent customer service delivery.
  • Keep dual control of petty cash and vault keys at the branch.
  • Check and sign the daily cash book jointly with the customer service supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance, Economics, management, or other Business-related fields.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in banking/microfinance, with a minimum of 2 years as a customer service supervisor or equivalent.
