Awash Bank Vacancies for Competent Candidates

Awash Bank, one of Ethiopia’s pioneering private banks, is seeking qualified and competent candidates for various positions. Established on November 10, 1994, by 486 shareholders with a paid-up capital of Birr 24.2 million, the bank has grown remarkably over the years, exhibiting excellent operational and financial performances among private banks in Ethiopia. The bank is currently focused on strengthening its technological capabilities, human resources, customer base, and capital base.

The bank invites interested applicants to apply for the following positions:

  1. Information Systems Auditor Qualification & Experience: BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology & Information Systems or BA Degree in Business related field, with a minimum of four (4) years of experience in banking operations, including two (2) years in Information Systems Auditing. Certifications in IT Auditing are mandatory. Place of Work: Addis Ababa (V. No: – 0218/23)
  2. Business Development Manager I Qualification & Experience: BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, or related discipline, with at least six (6) years of work experience in the banking sector. Place of Work: Dessie Branch – Dessie Town (V. No: – 0217/23)
  3. Senior Information Systems Auditor Qualification & Experience: BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology & Information Systems or BA Degree in Business related field, with a minimum of six (6) years of experience in banking operations, including three (3) years in Information Systems Auditing. Certifications in IT Auditing are mandatory. Place of Work: Addis Ababa (V. No: – 0204/23)
  4. Customer Service Manager I Qualification & Experience: BA Degree in Marketing, Accounting, Management, Economics, with a minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 3 years in operational work. Place of Work: Various branches (see V. numbers listed above)
  5. Branch Manager Class IV Qualification & Experience: BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics, with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant banking experience, including three (3) years in a supervisory position. Place of Work: Various branches (see V. numbers listed above)
