Position 1: Driver – I

  • Qualification: 10th/12th Grade
  • 3rd grade driving license or public level 1 or old 3rd level.
  • Experience: Four years of relevant experience.

Purpose of the Job: To support the Bank’s operations by transporting individuals, cash, and goods in a timely and safe manner.

Essential Functions:

  • Respect and adhere to traffic rules and road safety regulations at all times.
  • Transport individuals, cash, and goods to and from destinations.
  • Interact with clients professionally.
  • Ensure the vehicle is fueled and ready for use.
  • Maintain mileage and repair records.
  • Utilize navigation apps for optimal routes.
  • Work during nights, weekends, and holidays as requested.
  • Maintain an organized travel schedule.
  • Arrange for vehicle repairs when necessary.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and refreshed at all times.

Position 2: Junior Facility Management Officer

  • Qualification: BA in Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Experience: One year of relevant experience, preferably in the banking industry.

Purpose of the Job: To assist in delivering efficient and effective facility services within the bank.

Generic Functions:

  • Provide assistance in all activities of the work unit.
  • Maintain important files/records and make them available when required.
  • Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparent work practices.
  • Adhere to internal control systems and risk management programs.
  • Handle other related duties.

Specific Functions:

  • Provide facility services to all organs in a quality and timely manner.
  • Process utility services and effect payments.
  • Prepare and process payments for maintained vehicles, insurance bills, maintenance/repair work, etc.
  • Keep accurate records of outsourced service providers, maintenance/repair works, and relevant documents.
  • Fill out vehicle dispatch forms based on request approval.
  • Handle other related duties as required.

Position 3: Senior IT System Administrator

  • Qualification: BA/B.Sc. in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the banking industry with 2 years in an Officer position.

Purpose of the Job: To support the smooth functioning of the Bank’s day-to-day operations by implementing, securing, and maintaining the Bank’s enterprise systems and Datacenter.

Generic Functions:

  • Act as Division Manager in their absence.
  • Participate in developing policies, procedures, plans, and budgets of the division.
  • Mentor and enable staff below their grade.
  • Demonstrate the Bank’s code of conduct and embody its culture and corporate image.
  • Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparent work practices.
  • Provide services as per the service level agreement.

Specific Functions:

  • Administer and maintain servers (Web Server, Application Server, Database Server, File Server, Mail Server, etc.).
  • Monitor and verify the integrity, availability, and utilization of hardware, server resources, system, and key processes.
  • Review system and application logs, and ensure completion of scheduled jobs.
  • Manage and monitor system services for smooth operation.
  • Maintain server configuration, migration, and other implementations.
  • Handle other related duties as necessary.

Position 4: Senior Planning & Monitoring Officer

Qualification: BA in Management, Business Management, Public administration, or Development Management.

Experience: 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Banking Industry, including 2 years in an officer position.

Purpose of the Job: Handle regional office plan and performance management, analyzing and reporting performance against indicators to measure progress in achieving the Bank’s strategy.

Generic Functions:

  • Contribute to the bank’s profitability.
  • Adhere to internal control system and risk management program.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on plan performance.
  • Implement corrective action on deficiencies and issues raised by regulatory bodies.
  • Handle other related duties.

Specific Functions:

  • Contribute to designing planning methodologies, guidelines, and formats.
  • Participate in preparing corporate key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare progress reports and recommendations.
  • Analyze factors influencing the Bank’s performance.
  • Assist districts in preparing annual budgets.
  • Monitor the Bank’s market share.
  • Handle other related duties.

Position 5: Customer Service Executive – II (IFB)

Qualifications: BA in Accounting & Finance, Banking & Finance, Management, Economics, Marketing Management, or related fields.

Experience: 1 year of experience in banking operations as CSO, CSR, CSE, or related position.

Purpose of the Job: Enhance customer satisfaction, increase resource mobilization by cross-selling Bank products and services.

Generic Functions:

  • Enhance business relationships with customers.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on performance.
  • Provide services according to the service level agreement.
  • Contribute to the bank’s profitability.
  • Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency.
  • Adhere to internal control system and risk management program.

Specific Functions:

  • Perform customer recruitment and account opening.
  • Administer the Primary Vault.
  • Handle cash transactions and treasury management.
  • Verify daily cash receipts and bricks.
  • Retrieve customer signatures and verify information.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Place of Work: Jigjiga – IFB

Position 6: Security Guard – I

Qualification: Grade 10th/12th Complete.

Experience: Two years of relevant experience in Military service.

Purpose of the Job: Support customer service by ensuring a safe and secure work environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Patrol and secure the area, protecting properties and facilities.
  • Prevent theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
  • Authorize entrance of people and vehicles.
  • Report suspicious behavior.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position 7: Messenger & Cleaner – I

Qualification: 10th/12th Grade Complete.

Experience: Two years of relevant experience.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position 8: Branch Manager Grade – I

Qualifications: BA in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Management.

Experience: 7 years of relevant experience in the Banking Industry, including 1 year as Assistant Branch Manager/CSM or Relationship Manager.

Purpose of the Job: Achieve growth and profitability by cross-selling products, acquiring and retaining customers, improving customer service, and managing overall retail banking operations.

Essential Functionality:

  • Develop and revise branch office’s functional strategy.
  • Lead resource mobilization at the branch.
  • Check service delivery and customer perception.
  • Ensure attractive banking service is delivered and maintained.
  • Plan and lead resource mobilization at the branch.
  • Engage in marketing and promotional activities.
