Position 1: Cash Office Attendant

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of 10/12th grade completed.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years banking experience and more than 25 years old.

Place of Work: Bahir Dar District in 24 Branches

Position 2: Facility Clerk

Qualifications:

  • Education: BA Degree in Procurement & Supplies Management, Logistic & Supply Chain Management, Management, or other business-related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years cognate banking experience.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage office facilities and serve as a liaison between customers (internal and external) and the responsible management.
  • Read, analyze and direct incoming letters and memos to the appropriate unit/individual or act on them appropriately.
  • Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and mails.
  • Answer telephones, handle inquiries, take messages and transfer calls to appropriate individuals.
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
  • Maintain scheduling and event calendars.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments for clients, customers or supervisors.
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records and performing basic bookkeeping work for petty cash management.
  • Draft letters, memos, and reports using MS word processing, excel spreadsheet and Access.
  • Oversee the proper implementation of administrative procedures for offices.
  • Attend meetings and keep minutes.
  • Coordinate Clerical Aids, Motorists, and Janitors.
  • Make copies of correspondence or printed material.
  • Maintain confidential and sensitive documents with due care.
  • Maintain electronic and paper records ensuring information is organized and easily accessible.
  • Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies.
  • Operate office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, or phone systems.
  • Operate electronic mail systems and coordinate the flow of information internally or with other organizations.
  • Arrange meetings or travel reservations for bank personnel as needed.
  • Provide any administrative and clerical support to the management and any appropriate individual.
  • Ensure all office equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Learn to operate new office technologies as they are developed and implemented.
  • Perform other related duties given by the supervisor.

Position 3: Senior Administrative Assistant

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree/Diploma in Secretarial Science & Office Management or related fields.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4/6 years banking experience, of which 2 years in the area of Secretarial Service and Office Administration.

Job Objective:

To ensure the provision of efficient and effective administration service to managerial or executive staff or other appropriate individuals through managing the office and office facilities and affairs.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Read and analyze incoming letters & memos and direct them to the appropriate unit/individual, or act upon them in an appropriate way.

  • Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.

Qualifications:

  • Education: MA/BA Degree in Accounting, Management, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Economics, or other Business Related Field.
  • Experience: 6/8 years banking experience, experience in a supervisory role is advantageous.

Job Objective:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure customer queries and complaints are properly handled
  • Facilitate efficient and high-quality service to customers
  • Manage and maintain a positive relationship with customers and staffs
  • Promote new and existing banks products, services, and digital banking to customers
  • Enhance the bank’s image through proactive handling of customers and maximizes their satisfaction
  • Ensure all performers comply with regulatory standards, bank’s policies, procedures, and code of conduct
  • Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with the bank’s and regulatory standards and policies
  • Set team objectives, goals, and performance standards and facilitate team’s alignment and goal cascading
  • Work closely with the branch teams in annual plan development and implementation
  • Review and consolidate branch budgets
  • Evaluate annual plans, such as operational plan, marketing plans, and sales plan
  • Create conducive work environment for the customers and staff
  • Check and approve balance confirmation
  • Motivate all branch staff to deliver high-quality service
  • Implement the designed strategy for business growth, operational excellence, and digitalization
  • Represent the branch in social and official affairs and handle correspondences
  • Ensure all document related to credit and international banking are properly and timely forwarded to the respective departments
  • Coordinate the marketing efforts of the branch
  • Perform other duties assigned by appropriately instituted Supervisory Management.
