JOB SUMMERY

The Manager plans and coordinates the overall activities of the branch, and follows-up and evaluates Branch’s operations/targets on established performance parameters. He/she motivates and coaches the customer service officers responsible for the delivery of high quality service. He/she identifies and recruits potential customers and provides professional advice.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Educational Level and work Experience: BA in Management or Economics or Accounting & Finance or Marketing or Banking & Finance or Business Administration or other business related field of study with four years’ work experience in banking operations, out of which two years in supervisory position.

Candidates who can speak Oromiffa language for Melkarafu branch, and Somaligna language for Gode, Jigjiga & Kebridahar Branches is advantageous

Ensures that all purchase requests are duly authorized and purchase orders are issued, Collects pro-forma invoices from suppliers in accordance with the procurement procedure of the bank and submits to supervisor and purchase committee for decision, Prepares purchase order for approved and authorized purchase, Purchase supplies, materials, equipment and instruments based on specifications provided by requesting units, Maintains proper documents, i.e. purchase orders, purchase requisitions, receiving reports and all other records related to purchase, Makes sure that items are purchased according to requisition and purchase orders.

Remittance and Fund Management Manager Develop Plan that is aligned with the bank’s strategy. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the division, Coordinate, supervise and control the overall activities of the Foreign remittance and Fund Management Division. Interpret and implement bank policy, Procedure and directives of regulatory body relating to Foreign Remittance and Fund Management Service. Avails policy and procedure manuals, ICC rules, NBE directives, the bank circulars and other pertinent information to the operators. Ensures that bank policies, rules and regulations are adhered to by subordinates for all services and ensure terms and tariffs are fully applied under his/her supervision

JOB REQUIREMENT

Educational Level and work Experience: Minimum BA Degree in Banking & Finance/ Accounting/ Business Administration/ Management/ Economics or business related field of study with a minimum of 6 years work experience in international banking of which 2 years in supervisory position.
