About Global Insurance Company (S.C.) (GIC):
GIC, founded by 23 shareholders, has grown significantly over the years. We currently have a paid-up capital of Birr 150.6 million and authorized capital of Birr 250 million. With 176 shareholders as of June 2020 and total assets worth over Birr 413 million, GIC operates from its own building located on Addis Ababa’s Gobena Abba Tigu Street (Somale Tera). We serve our valued clients through 21 branches and one contact office situated in Addis Ababa and various parts of the country. Our dedicated team has grown from fewer than 25 employees to a total of 224 employees.

In addition to our core business of general insurance, GIC provides modern vehicle inspection services at our own Kality recovery yard, located opposite the Kality Sub-City Administration Office and in Harar town.

• Education: BA/Diploma
• Field of Study: Management, Supplies Management, Accounting, and related fields.
• Relevant Experience: 0/2 years
• Computer Skills: Mandatory
• Place of Work: Addis Ababa

2. General Accounts Division Manager

• Education: BA Degree
• Field of Study: Accounting
• Relevant Work Experience: Eight (8) years
• Computer Skills: Mandatory (Accpack Accounting software and IFRS knowledge is required)
• Place of Work: Addis Ababa
