The bank is now inviting competent and qualified candidates to apply for the following permanent positions:

  1. Head, Internal Control
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, management, banking & insurance, or related fields
  • Experience: At least six years of relevant experience with two years as a senior auditor or senior internal control officer.
  • Essential Functionality: Analyze operations of districts and branches under the regional office, verify balance of subsidiary trial balance accounts against General Ledger, check new account openings, and maintain custody of duplicate specimen signature cards.
  • Place of Work: South East Region, South West Region, North Region
  1. Manager Compliance
  • Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in business management, accounting, economics, business administration, finance and economics, or related fields
  • Experience: Seven to nine years of relevant banking experience with at least two years in a senior officer position.
  • Essential Functionality: Develop, implement, and revise AML/AFT policy, procedures, and guidelines; conduct training programs on Anti-Money Laundering/Counter Terrorist Financing; respond to enquiries from regulators and correspondent banks and payment associations; undertake compliance assessment findings and present recommendations/issues to the Board and Senior Management; manage collection of relevant compliance risk data for preparation of special and periodic compliance risk assessment reports and maintenance of the compliance risk management database.
  • Place of Work: Head Office
  1. Branch Manager Grade – I
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in banking & finance, accounting, business administration, economics, management, or related field.
  • Experience: At least seven years of relevant experience in the banking industry with one year as an assistant branch manager/CSM or relationship manager.
  • Essential Functionality: Develop and revise the branch office’s functional strategy aligned with the business-level strategy of the bank, plan and lead resource mobilization activities of the branch by organizing and coordinating the branch workforce, support regular checks on service delivery at the branch through customer surveys to determine customers’ perception and experience of the bank’s service, ensure attractive banking service is delivered and maintained, engage in marketing and promotional activities.
