Job Description:
Abay Logistics PLC aspires to become Ethiopia’s preferred 3rd Party Logistics Company by applying insights and delivering technologically innovative outcomes. We want to create sustainable growth for all businesses and society at large.

Currently the company has started operation in Customs Clearance and (Transit), Freight forwarding and Shipping Agency. In the near future, we will start a new business line.

Our company currently wants to employ very competitive and energetic staffs on the following vacant positions;
Specific Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Ensures the integrity and proper handling of financial data of the company.
  • Manages monthly closings and account analysis.
  • Compiles whole financial income and expenditure properly, and produces financial report.
  • Checks all financial transactions are journalized and properly posted.
  • Ensures proper registration of the company’s fixed assets
  • Settle Government obligations
  • Administer all bank transactions.
  • Ensures proper printing, custody and distribution of receipts.
  • Handle office Management activities
  • Handle the overall cash transaction.
  • Keeps records of collections & payments regularly.
  • Produces monthly bank reconciliation for all accounts.
  • Manages petty cash.
  • Term of employment—Permanent

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Art Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Two years of total work Experience in similar and related business companies with Finance and Accounting  experience
  • Planning skill
    Forecasting skill
    Preparation & interpretations of basic financial statements
    Familiarity and good working knowledge of IFRS & accounting software
    Budget preparation
