1: Junior Internal Auditor
Skill and Educational Background:

  • Educational Level and Work Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Accounting, Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience in banking operations.
  • Responsibilities: The Junior Internal Auditor is responsible for conducting audits at a bank branch. This includes identifying and defining issues, developing audit criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting the auditee’s processes and procedures. They conduct interviews, surveys, review documents, and prepare working papers. Additionally, they identify, develop, and document audit issues and recommendations for improvement using independent judgment. Finally, they compile and prepare reports of audit findings.

2: Administrative Assistant
Skill and Educational Background:

  • Educational Level and Work Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Secretarial Science & Office Management/Administrative Service Management with 2-4 years of related work experience.
  • Responsibilities: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for registering and filing letters, minutes, circulars, memoranda, and other materials. They also screen visitors, schedule appointments, and arrange telephone contacts for their supervisor. Additionally, they maintain custody of correspondent files, other confidential materials, and petty cash, as well as open, sort, and route incoming mail.
  • Place of Work: Head Office/Adama District

3: Management Assistant
Skill and Educational Background:

  • Educational Level and Work Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial Science and Office Management/Administrative Service Management with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
  • Responsibilities: The Management Assistant performs basic secretarial duties, including organizing records, typing, computer skills, and customer handling and communication skills. They register and file letters, minutes, circulars, memoranda, manage office equipment, screen visitors, schedule appointments, and arrange telephone contacts for their supervisor.

4: Building Management Officer (Mechanical)
Skill and Educational Background:

  • Educational Level and Work Experience: Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 4 years’ experience, preferably in the banking industry.
  • Responsibilities: The Building Management Officer (Mechanical) is responsible for preparing technical specifications for different mechanical equipment and vehicles according to the bank’s standard requirements. They analyze and evaluate tender/bid documents, prepare technical evaluation reports for the procurement and facilities department, and provide technical justifications for bid evaluation reports. They also offer technical advice on existing and newly purchased mechanical equipment and vehicles, conduct inspections and approvals of purchased mechanical equipment and vehicles, and provide professional guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Place of Work: Head Office

5: Senior IT Auditor
Skill and Educational Background:

  • Educational Level and Work Experience: Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other Information Technology related fields with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Responsibilities: The Senior IT Auditor plans the objectives, scope, and methodology of audits, and prepares an audit program. They evaluate IT functions and systems with a focus on security, quality, fiduciary aspects, service, and capacity. They identify, develop, and document audit issues and recommendations for improvement, prepare and deliver spoken and written presentations to the auditee’s management, and conduct special investigation/fraud investigation audits.

6: Senior Building Management Officer
Skill and Educational Background:

  • Educational Level and Work Experience: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology & Management, or a relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Architectural Design, Supervision, and Quantity Surveying. Experience in the banking industry is advantageous.
  • Responsibilities: The Senior Building Management Officer is responsible for preparing interior designs for offices, branch layout and design, specifications, and quantities of work. They supervise construction works, prepare payments for executed work, and ensure that construction work complies with given specifications.
  • Place of Work: Head Office

8: Branch Manager Grade I
Skill and Educational Background:

  • Educational Level and Work Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or a related business field with at least 4 years of work experience in banking operations, including 2 years in a supervisory position.
  • Responsibilities: The Branch Manager plans and coordinates the overall activities of the branch, evaluates branch operations and targets based on performance parameters, motivates and coaches customer service officers, identifies and recruits potential customers, and provides professional advice.
  • Place of Work: Various locations including Dire Dawa, Jigjiga City, Kebri Dehar, Harar City, and Deder.
